Hi and welcome to a new Spanish class.

Today we are going to study how to say hi and good bye in Spanish.  These are the most common phrases you can use in these cases with the corresponding translations:

Buenos días	Good Morning
Hola	Hello, Hi
Quiubo/ Quihubo (exclamation)	What’s up?
Buenas tardes	Good Afternoon
Buenas noches	Good evening/ Good Night
Adiós	Bye
Hasta luego	See you later
Nos vemos	See you.

Try to practice them.  Though we are very flexible and you can say hi in Spanish in so many different ways, these key phrases are a good introduction to your conversation.
