Artículos indefinidos

Hola chicos.  Bienvenidos a una nueva clase de español

Today we are going to study the indefinite articles.

The indefinite articles in spanish are:

SPANISH
ENGLISH
UN
A/ AN (M)
UNA
A/AN (F)

In English you just need to know that, if the noun starts with a vowel you use an and if it doesn't you use A.

In Spanish we have to look for the genre of the noun.  Generally male nouns in Spanish end with a "o" and female nouns end with a "a".

Un carro
(A car)

Una bicicleta
(A bike)

The plural forms are:

SINGULAR
PLURAL
UN
UNOS
UNA
UNAS

Unos carros
(Some cars)

Unas bicicletas
(Some bikes)

La Negación

Hola amigos

Today we are going to study how to make negative statements in Spanish.

The rule is quite simple:

Use No

"No" in Spanish means both No and Don't/ Doesn't

¿Fumas?
No fumo
(I don't smoke)
or..
No, yo no fumo
(No, I don't smoke)

¿Va al baile?
(Do you go to dance?)

No, yo no voy
(No, I don't go)

Or you just say no.

Contar en español 11-20

Hola amigos y bienvenidos a una nueva clase de español

Today we are going to continue counting in Spanish.

These are the numbers from 11 to 20:

11 Once
12 Doce
13 Trece
14 Catorce
15 Quince
16 Dieciséis
17 Diecisiete
18 Dieciocho
19 Diecinueve
20 Veinte

After Veinte, the rest of the numbers until 100 are very easy because they are just a combination of the first ten numbers and the new particular.  For example: Treinta y Tres (33)
